Signature Fields Not Appearing

If a signer reports that they can see the document but no fields are highlighted, check the following:

Common causes

  • Wrong signer link. Each signer has a unique link. Make sure the signer is using the link sent to their email address, not someone else's link.
  • All fields completed. If the signer has already signed all their fields, they see the document in read-only mode with no active fields.
  • Sequential signing. If the envelope uses sequential signing, the signer's fields only become active when it is their turn. They may see the document but cannot act until previous signers complete their fields.
  • Browser issue. Ask the signer to try a different browser or clear their cache. SignMeHere works best on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Mobile devices

Fields should appear on mobile browsers. If they do not, ensure the browser is up to date and try rotating the device to landscape mode for a wider view.
